On the morning of September 12, 2023, Professor Arthouros Zervos from the National Technical University of Athens and President of the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21), and Dr. Georgios Karalis, researcher from the National Technical University of Athens, visited the wind Energy Laboratory and conduct exchange meeting with the Chinese supervisor of ICARE. 

From 2009 to 2015, Professor Arthouros Zervos was chairman and CEO of the Greek Public Power Company and Chairman of the Renewable Energy Company of the Public Power Company. He was President of the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) from 2001 to 2013, President of the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC) from 2000 to 2012 and President of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) from 2005 to 2010. In 2013, he received the "Poul La Cour" award for outstanding achievements in the field of wind energy. From 1990 to 1995, he worked as a scientific Officer in the Renewable Energy Division of DG Research of the European Commission in Brussels. He has over 30 years of high-level expertise in policy, science, research and technology in the renewable energy industry.
