ICARE launched the "Little Sun" green technology volunteer activity in collaboration with Optics Valley New World Jingbo Kindergarten on September 21st. The aim of this activity is to instill in children the concept of "clean energy and green development" from an early age. The activity introduced the basic concepts of wind energy, solar energy, geothermal energy, tidal energy and biomass energy to the children, to encourage a simple, moderate, green and low-carbon lifestyle. It also aimed to create a green technology service system of "green family", "green school", "green community" and "green travel", and assist preschool children in forming a concept of energy saving and green life.

During the activity, Mr. Lu Jiayi, a student of ICARE, introduced the basic concepts of new energy science and technology to the children. This greatly attracted their attention and interest. Mr. Wang Jiaxuan explained the working principle of solar panels and wind turbines with the help of solar wind car models and wind generator models, which made the children enthusiastic and excited to operate the model themselves. Finally, Mr. Jin Dongsheng put forward some easy questions about new energy knowledge and guided the children to think about the necessity and significance of developing clean energy.
 

This activity aimed to implant the seed of "green and low-carbon" in the heart of every child and guide them to establish a low-carbon concept from a young age. It is a great step in advocating for a green and sustainable future.
