On October 25th, Everton Coelho de Medeiros, a researcher from Brazil's National Service for Industrial Training (SENAI), visited ICARE, accompanied by HUST alumnus J. Renato Peneluppi Jr., and participated in an academic exchange with Associate Professor Li Xuemin. ICARE Vice Dean Dr. Zou Mingqing, Research Center Director Prof. Hu Song, and Education Center Director Ms. Liu Yang also attended the event.

Dr. Zou Mingqing warmly welcomed the SENAI delegation on behalf of ICARE, emphasizing ICARE’s commitment to advancing global clean energy development, education, and cultural exchange. He highlighted the institute’s mission to strengthen the international impact of Chinese higher education through collaborative interactions with institutions both within China and internationally.

Associate Professor Li Xuemin provided an overview of his team’s research findings and upcoming projects in offshore wind energy. Everton then introduced SENAI’s mission and work, after which both parties discussed prospects for future collaboration in a friendly and open exchange.

After the meeting, Everton and Renato toured ICARE’s exhibition wall, showcasing the institute’s initiatives and achievements.
