Recently, the research team led by ICARE Chinese supervisor Prof. NIU Guangda, from the Monolithic Integrated Optoelectronic Devices and Systems Group of Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, has made important progress in the field of ultrahigh-energy radiation detection. The research findings, entitled Highly sensitive and stable perovskite detector for ultrahigh-energy radiations via dynamic repair regulation, were published online in Nature Photonics on February 9.

This research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Major State Basic Research Development Program of China. YIN Hang, a PhD candidate at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Dr. WU Haodi from the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and ZHANG Yang are the co-first authors of the paper. Prof. NIU Guangda and Researcher GAO Yuting from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) serve as the co-corresponding authors.
