To deepen university-enterprise cooperation, boost high-quality employment for graduates and align talent cultivation with industrial development, Dr. Zou Mingqing, Vice Dean of ICARE, led a delegation of 30 faculty members and students on a corporate visit to Wuhan Jason Electronics Technology Co., Ltd on May 25th 2026 as part of the “Enterprise Cooperation and Job Expansion” initiative.

A high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of high-voltage safety systems and core components for new energy vehicles, Wuhan Jason Electronics Technology Co., Ltd was founded in 2015. Relying on proprietary core technologies and focusing on the new energy vehicle market, it is committed to delivering efficient, reliable and customized system-matching solutions for clients.

After years of development, its customers now account for 80% of domestic new energy vehicle OEMs in China. The company ranked first nationwide in market share among independent third-party suppliers for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. It has been certified as a national-level Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprise and a Gazelle Enterprise of China Auto Valley. Meanwhile, the firm has set up R&D branches in Shanghai, Nagoya of Japan, Munich of Germany and California of the United States, steadily advancing its global layout.

Guided by company staff, faculty and students toured the enterprise’s exhibition hall, laboratories, production workshops and staff fitness & recreation areas in sequence. During the laboratory visit, company technicians explained the company’s R&D achievements and technical advantages in high-voltage safety control systems for new energy vehicles. They illustrated how the firm ensures stable battery charging and discharging as well as overall vehicle safety through precise SOC calculation and abnormal operating condition protection technologies, and how it spearheaded the formulation of the industry’s first technical standard for high-voltage safety systems.

Later, at the production site, the delegation observed the manufacturing procedures of core components on site and gained an in-depth understanding of the full production chain, from raw material feeding to finished product delivery, gaining firsthand experience of the company’s stringent standards for smart manufacturing and quality control.
