To further strengthen the cooperation between schools and enterprises, implement the work requirements of "visiting enterprises to expand posts", and promote high-quality employment, on the afternoon of May 24th, 11 teachers and students of ICARE visited Wuhan Energy Efficiency Evaluation Co., LTD./State Grid Electric Power Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as Energy Efficiency Company), to carry out the first session of the famous enterprise practice. Mr. Xu Chaoyang, Vice general manager of Energy Efficiency Company, Mr. Ding Sheng, Assistant general manager, Mr. Jiang Cheng, Vice manager of the Development Department, Mr. Sun Wei, Assistant of the Dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Ms. Zhao Yiting, Employment advisor, and relevant persons in charge of scientific research and school-enterprise cooperation participated in this activity.
The students were warmly welcomed when they entered the Energy efficiency company. Mr. Jiang Cheng, first introduced the company’s development history, development prospects, main business and talent demand. He said that the development of the company cannot be separated from the support of high-quality talents.
Later, Ms. Zhao Yiting introduced the situation in detail from the aspects of ICARE’s history, ICARE’s characteristics, talent training and so on. She pointed out that the industry characteristics of energy efficiency companies are highly consistent with the professional advantages of the ICARE and looked forward to further cooperation between the two sides.
At the same time, an interview training was held for the Class 2021. through group interviews and one-to-one interviews, specialists of employment from Energy Efficiency Company analyzed each student’s weaknesses in a targeted way.
After the meeting, the teachers and students visited the exhibition hall of the company and had an in-depth understanding of the company’s innovative products and technologies in the field of comprehensive energy services.
This activity provided an opportunity for teachers and students to learn about the energy efficiency industry and communicate with the alumni of the enterprise. By combining the knowledge learned in the class with the industries, the students could deepen their understanding of energy and help students to determine their plans.
